1.0.1 This standard is formulated to implementing national technology policy, achieving advanced technology, accurate data, safety and reliability in site testing of masonry engineering. 

1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the site testing and determination of strength of brick masonry, masonry mortar and masonry blocks. 

1.0.3 The site testing of masonry engineering shall not only comply with this standard, but also comply with those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
